The team
Two founders
Unfriendly Games is run by David Carmona and Karen Nguyen. Both authors and publishers, we make a complementary duo, from a game's very first idea to its release. Generally, David plants the seed and Karen grows the tree.
David Carmona
Author, publisher, secretary
David always has a game in mind. He tinkers, prototypes and models in 3D until the idea becomes a real object. He also makes sure the logistics chain runs smoothly. He is the one who prepares and ships your parcels, and the one you might get on the phone.
Karen Nguyen
Author, publisher, coordinator
Karen takes ideas and makes them grow. She follows the projects through, from art direction with the illustrators to the production factories. And when the game is ready to be released, she also gives it its voice: communication, photos, videos, social media.
